Phakamile “Parks” Mthembu, Hlahatsi Section, Katlehong writes:
Earlier this year, Kathorus MAIL carried stories about two dead bodies that were found by the police in the Natalspruit River over a period of three months.
Since then, there have been no further reports about the two incidents and one wonders whether these cases were ever solved and the victims identified.
Many people with missing family members often rely on the outcome of these reports being made public to enable them to identify their missing family members.
With so many people missing, the members of the public also rely on the police to take them into their confidence.
We need to see more photos of missing people and wanted criminals in the newspapers so that we as members of the public can work with the police in fighting crime.
