Poster to give the details of the event.

The two-day entertainment will begin at Isiphosethu Special School on September 22 and on September 23 at the Vosloorus Stadium.

Katleho Mhlanga, one of the founders of the company, said they want to do something special for kids with disability.

“On September 22 at Isiphosethu Special School we will be doing the curtain-raiser of the event – Kiddies Rainbow Festival family fun day that will take place on September 23 at Vosloorus Stadium. The event is for kids with disability,” said Mhlanga.

He said the reason they chose the school that the school is for learners with special needs.

“We choose the school because kids with disabilities are mostly rejected when it comes to such kind of entertainment.

“Sometimes those without disabilities reject playing with those with disability.

“As a result those with disabilities feel lonely, so we wanted to do something special for them,” he said.

He said they will offer kids entertainment such as a jumping castle, powder paint, indigenous games and much more.

“The school accepted us to come to do this entertainment for kids on the day.

“The following day which is September 23, we will be hosting the official event – Kiddies Rainbow Festival family fun day at Vosloorus Stadium. This is a family fun day where kids and parents are invited to come experience the fun side of entertainment with games such as a jumping castle, water slides, motor bikes, face painting, carnival rides games, play station games, colour powder, colour burst balloons, kids favourite cartoons, mascots, indigenous games such as mgusha, bhathi, mathini, skipping, and many more,” said Mhlanga.

He said the entrance fees on the day will be R40 for kids and R60 for adults.

He concluded by saying tickets are already on sale at Computicket stores. For more information you can contact Katleho Mhlanga on 078 594 3174.
